Your point of communication and the lack of collaboration enabling capabilities in the tools is spot on. Analog designers tend to be very much individual contributors while digital designers tend to naturally be more collaborative. This is just the reality of the situation. Integration of capabilities to actually manage the design process, not just the design flow, would be a significant step towards &quot;less surprises&quot; in the integration of digital and analog. The first vendor to recognize and address the difference between the design process and the design flow will be the first to solve this puzzle.
