Corrections
If something on this site is wrong, write to corrections@chipdesignmag.com. Tell us the page, the claim, example or dataset row, and what you saw, including the tool and version if it concerns a run.
What we do
- Check the evidence. For an article we identify the claim and the source or run behind it. For a dataset we identify the row, field, source commit or document and check date.
- Rerun when behaviour is involved. A change to an example, a result or a tool observation gets a fresh run with its tool versions, options and date. A typo fix does not imply a rerun.
- Correct in public. The page gets a dated correction note saying what was wrong and what changed. Superseded results are kept on record, not silently replaced.
- Qualify while we check. If an error affects a conclusion, we qualify or withdraw that conclusion until it is resolved.
Tool and core maintainers can ask us to update how we describe their documentation, licence or collateral. We check the current source and update the record and its date.
We do not publish private details from correction reports.
